Mårten Larsson and his husbands—plural—are at it again, saving the world from exsanguination one twisted vampire bad guy at a time. As the Obscurati sniper team known as the Unseen Death, Mårten and Oberon travel the world exterminating the undead, leaving Lonny to be the brains of their vampire empire back home in Bavaria. But the renovations Lonny has slated for Lechmont Manor get put on the back burner when some major demolition unearths a stone coffin and a decades-old plot to polish off the pope. Suddenly the Obscurati are the ones being hunted by members of a powerful supernatural organization that aren't afraid to walk in the daylight. To make matters worse, the mounting tension is driving a wedge between Mårten and his husbands. If Mårten wants to save their unlives—and their marriage—he will have to solve the mystery of the vamp in the silver mask before the Illuminati turn out the lights.
