NNELS and CELA Joint Information Sessions

Thank You!

In the Fall Economic Statement the Government of Canada reduced funding for accessible book production and distribution by $1 million over each of the next 4 years until it was completely withdrawn by 2024-2025. Thanks to the advocacy of our users and stakeholders, we have been given a reprieve for this coming budget year.

While we appreciate the reprieve, NNELS and CELA are committed to advocating for a long term funding solution that fully recognizes the need for accessible reading materials.  We are working together alongside our colleagues in the publishing industry to develop a proposal for future conversations with the government. Join our info session to learn more.
