Getting a Book from the Collection

Last updated: August 16, 2021

Getting a book from the catalogue on the NNELS website can be broken down into three steps:

  1. Find a book using the search feature or by browsing our collections.
  2. Download the book in the format of your choice.
  3. Read the book on your device.

Note: Obtaining a hardcopy braille book is a slightly different process. Finding a book is still the same but steps 2 and 3 do not apply. To learn more about this go to the “Getting a Hardcopy Braille Book” section below. If the book is not in the collection or is available in the repository but not in the format you need, we may be able to obtain it from our partners or produce it for you. Read the “Requesting a Book” webpage for more information.
