TRU is a story of a 41 year old Puerto Rican woman named Tru and her quest to liberate herself from the grandiose and delusional Chinese American husband, who had led their family to financial ruin.  After 12 years of a destructive marriage and a breast cancer scare, Tru finally takes control of her life and embarks on a journey to free herself from the clutches of her controlling husband.  During her funny, moving, and inspirational freedom journey Tru rediscovers the woman she used to be.  As she unveils the details of the demise of her marriage, her divorce process, and her fresh new start in life we witness how hope, faith, and love guide her in defining her personal philosophy in life.
