In Black (a memoir), Heath tells the story of his journey in the world of the AFL in a very honest and brave way. He gives readers an insight into what happened during his time playing football, and how it impacted on his wellbeing, personal relationships and external relationships. Although football provides the setting, the book goes well beyond the world of football and delves into Heath's personal issues and how he struggles with his own demons.
