    In 1954 Pat, Jim and their three sons found themselves living on "the banks of the Condamine". Surrounded by floodwaters without either a phone or boat for the first six months, pregnant and often alone except for their toddler son Tony; Pat describes with tears and laughter a bygone era of 'war wagons', feral pigs, dingo drives, bush characters and other adventures.
