Jack Riley has a love-hate relationship with his boss, Madeleine Langston. He has tried avoiding her, even ignoring an invitation to her party. On his way home the night of the party, he saves a man from being mugged. As thanks, the man, a tailor, offers to make him a custom tuxedo, which transforms him into a sophisticated young man. Back at his normal work life, he discovers that the Brooklyn youth center where he volunteers is about to close down, and Madeleine is to blame. Jack is determined to keep the center open. And so he has a plan. All he needs is some faith, hope, and a very well-fitted tuxedo.
