Secret Service agent Jo Harper springs into action when the daughter of a murdered ambassador mysteriously goes missing in the mountains of New England. Despite their differences, she enlists local tracker Elijah Cameron to aid her in the search. He suspects the girl doesn't want to be found, but Jo's fears about foul play prove correct when they encounter a killer on the trail.
