Gabriel has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for a murder he did not commit. While jailed, he reads about a man who has been cured of cancer, supposedly proving God's existence. Gabriel is unimpressed. If God exists, why doesn't He make Himself known in a vile place like prison? With nothing but time on his hands, Gabriel begins filing away any and all evidence he can find that God might be real.
