In England in 1356, a peasant lad and a young Chinese woman travel to St. Alfric's Cove and the lair of the last fire-breathing dragon. An ancient herb woman has armed them with practical lore and a large supply of gunpowder to destroy the beast. They must use brains and courage to overcome the dragon and survive.
