United Nations researchers in the Arctic Circle are testing the feasibility of towing icebergs to use as a water supply in other parts of the world. Just as the team sets a final explosive, an earthquake breaks off the iceberg they are working on. As they rush to dismantle the bombs, they realize their chance of rescue is slim and one of their team is a killer.
