The day after their welcoming dinner in Blodgett, Texas, Lucy Goodnight's husband Phil, a bank manager, vanishes. Soon the townspeople discover that their bank has been robbed. Suspicions point to Phil, who hs just been given the keys to the bank and the combination to the vault.
