While the book was meant to cover any and all phases of the early history of Rimbey [Alberta], and of districts throughout the upper Blindman Valley, items of interest have not been limited by watersheds or township boundaries. Leedale and the upper drainage areas of the Medicine River are also represented in these pages, as well as regions bordering on Gull Lake to the south and east.
