Carley Reed didn't have an easy childhood, but now, as a settled adult living in San Francisco, she has managed to make a peaceful life for herself. Everything changes, though, when a private investigator finds her one morning and informs her that she has inherited her grandmother's house in Tallulah, Mississippi. Tallulah seems like the perfect place for Carley to settle down and fulfill a life-long dream of opening a small café--but danger and mystery might hinder her from reaching out to others and saving herself.
