    Summary:

    Daredevil ex-RAF pilot, Edwin Cruse, buys a Hercules aeroplane for a mere ten thousand dollars. It is however, awkwardly placed for collection - on an iceberg in the Antarctic! Cruse, and others of less honest disposition, set out to retrieve the plane.
