Hey, History! NNELS is Now Available Across Canada

Vancouver, BC
Monday, October 2, 2017

As of today, NNELS is available to Canadians with print disabilities (or individuals acting on their behalf), regardless of where they live.

Yesterday, NNELS users had to live in a participating province or territory. Today, the door is open to every eligible reader through their local public library.

NNELS is 100% funded by the governments of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.

The only restrictions on libraries and readers in non-participating provinces (these include New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Québec) are that they cannot make requests for new books, and connectors are not included in their membership.

For more information, please see our public notice. Library staff, please visit our library staff portal and let us know if you have any questions.

Welcome, all!
