A New Simultaneous Publication Added to the National Network for Equitable Library Service's Braille Collection

Monday, March 2, 2020

The National Network for Equitable Library Service is pleased to announce the release of another book that we have worked on as a part of the Braille for New Publications Project. Published by Groundwood Books (an imprint of House of Anansi Press), Violet Shrink (written by Christine Baldacchino, and illustrated by Carmen Mok) is a thoughtful children's story about understanding and acceptance.

The electronic braille file is available from the repository, and the physical braille book can be requested for loan from any of NNELS' 14 braille hosting libraries. Access the record in the NNELS collection, here!

This project was made possible thanks in part to support from the Government of Canada’s Social Development and Partnership Program – Disability Component (SDPP-D).
