What is an RDSP?

An RDSP is a long-term savings plan for people with disabilities. If you have a disability, you may be eligible to open an RDSP. You might have someone help you apply for the RDSP, or someone that applies for it on your behalf. This guide is intended to help you, or someone who supports you, through each step of the process.

For more information about setting up an RDSP, please call the Disability Planning hotline at 1-844-311-PLAN or 1-844-311-7526. The Guide is also available in other formats, such as text only, PDF, audio and word files on the Government of B.C. Accessibility 2024 website at gov.bc.ca/accessibility.
