There are 10 steps to starting and managing an RDSP. Step 6 is Choosing Your Holder. The holder of your RDSP is the person who makes decisions about investments and withdrawals. In most cases, you will be the holder but if you can’t understand the RDSP contract your financial institution may require another person to be the holder of your RDSP.
