Searching Libby

Last updated: April 3, 2023

If you know which book you’re looking for, searching is the quickest way to find it. You do that on the “Search” tab, the farthest tab to the left. The search field is at the top of the “Search” screen. Double-tap it to start typing.

When you’re done typing, double-tap “Search” on the keyboard or the “Submit Search” button to the right of the search field. You can also explore the screen to find search suggestions and double-tap one to autocomplete the search.

Demonstration 1. Submitting a keyword search for "Fire and Blood."

Try it out: Type the title of a book into the “Search” field and submit the search. The demonstration used Fire and Blood, but feel free to use any book you like.

Demonstration 2. Using search suggestions to search for "Fire and Blood"

Try it out: Type part of a book’s title into the “Search” field, then find the book you intended to search for under “Search Suggestions.” Again, use whatever book you choose.
