Finding shelter in a Sioux village after a Cheyenne attack, Lew Dorset and Chuck Morris absorb the native culture. Chuck marries the beautiful maiden Zintcallasappa, but after Lew returns from a battle between Sioux and Pawnee, he finds Chuck has deserted his wife. His attempts to reconcile them result in great danger and, ultimately, a threat to his life.
