Every year on the first Monday in December twelve friends gather with batches of homemade cookies wrapped in beautiful packages. They drink wine, they eat and take turns telling the story of the cookies they have baked. Somehow these stories are emblematic of the year that has just passed and of lives full of, love, conflict, yearning and loss.
