The "Big Five" personality dimensions widely recognized by Western psychologists: extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, openness to experience. Through their own research, Lee and Ashton discovered a sixth personality dimension, Honesty-Humility. Those with high levels of the H factor are sincere and modest, those with low levels are deceitful and pretentious.
