Career jounalist Marge Hairston and her three loving children, Drogan, Cassie, and Sharon, are about as close as a family can be. After her husband died, Marge was left to raise the children on her own. She persevered, while at the same time bringing The Woodmore Times notoriety as North Carolina's premier African-American newspaper. But when she becomes seriously ill, her children are faced with the hardship of honoring their mother's legacy.
