NNELS files can be played on DAISY supported devices such as Victor Reader players, or on mobile devices and computers. To get books onto these devices, they can be downloaded directly into the app or transferred using flash drives, CDs, and SD cards that can be plugged in to the device.

If you have a Windows computer, you can install the free and open source AMIS for Windows XP or newer to listen to DAISY books. If you have a Mac computer, you can install the free and open source Olearia for Mac OS 10.5 or newer. If you’re using an iOS device such as an iPhone, iPod, or iPad, you can use the free Dolphin Easy Reader app or the Voice Dream app ($14.95 in the Apple App Store). If you’re using an Android device, Legere Reader  ($12.99 is available. There is also the free Dolphin Easy Reader app in the Google Play Store.
