Reading audiobooks with Libby is very straightforward. When you open one, you will be brought to its “Navigating Mode.” This screen has all the controls for playing and finding a spot in the audiobook, so unlike books and magazines, you don’t have to find your way through several screens to start reading. You can navigate straight to the “Play” button and start listening.
For those who enjoy speeding up or slowing down audiobooks, the “Playback Speed” button will open a dialogue where you can select a speed. You can select from several preset options by double-tapping their buttons, or you can swipe up and down on the slider to select from many more options. Double-tap the “Dismiss Dialog” button once you’ve made your selection.
